A: It's a musical mashup: there's some "Day Tripper," a little Homme, and Bobby Caldwell, again with the desire to keep it interesting/challenging to play. The modulation at the end presented itself is fun too.

D: The first line that came to mind was "I got a hold on your scent right now." So I polled friends, "Does this sound more like a hairy knife-fisted elf or a bladed blonde?" Beatrix won. Of course.
